Demanding Answers on the Status of the Ahtisaari Bribery Investigation

James Jatras, Director of the American Council for Kosovo, has written a letter to UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-Moon demanding details on the status of the Ahtisaari Bribery investigation. Copies of this letter have also been sent to members of Congress and the media. The letter is available in PDF format here

American taxpayers have always financed much of the UN budget, and
rampant corruption at the UN has been ignored & tolerated for years. But this is different -- if, as the official UN Negotiator for Kosovo, Marti Ahtisaari was paid over $50M by the Kosovo Albanian Mafia to recommend "Kosovo Independence" and the US State Department stands foursquare for the "Ahtisaari Plan", then it really makes one wonder how far up the chain that this corruption might go!

This Ahtisaari Bribery Allegation deserves a transparent investigation and outcome. If Marti Ahtisaari is innocent, then he deserves to have his name cleared. But if Ahtisaari is not innocent, then we deserve to know exactly what happened , who was involved and how they will be punished, so that steps can be taken to make sure that this doesn't happen again!
