I am saddened by the recent events that have transpired in Kosovo. Thank you for your insightful explanations and analysis.
I am a bit young, so I don't have first hand memory of the events of 1999. I am trying to get myself up to speed and understand the history of that conflict.
I also want to understand how these modern conflicts fit in the larger historical context. By any chance could you point me towards any online sources or printed books that could give me basic background information?
Thanks
Hi Nomodiphus!
There are several books listed on the right side of the page below the links section from Amazon which put Kosovo into the wider context. And for online sources, check the links.
This is truly a sad situation. Frankly, we are so on the wrong side of this issue, it embarrasses me to be "an American"!
