Some beautiful photos of the 14th and 15th century iconography of both High Decani and the Patriarchate in this travelogue of two major Serbian Monasteries in Kosovo.
At pains not to offend their Albanian hosts, one must read a bit between the lines from the author to discover that both of the churches have to be kept under constant armed guard to protect them from destruction.

The Peace of God! Christ Is Born! Truly He Is Born!
There are many Serbs here in the US who haven't forgotten their roots or their Faith.
And one of them is Baba Mim from Moon, PA, whose website is a treasure trove of Serbian Orthodox customs in America. This year, Baba Mim's celebration of Serbian Orthodox Christmas customs was featured in the Pittsburgh Gazette.
To all of you celebrating today, May the Joy of Christmas be with you all year long, for Christ Is Born! Truly He Is Born!
