Each year, the Serbian people remember & honor the British doctors & nurses who gave their lives to support the Serbs during the First World War, including the bravery of Dr. Elizabeth Ross. More at The Scotsman
And Dr. Elizabeth Ross wasn't the only Scottish saint of Serbia worthy of admiration and thanks.
During WWI, Dr. Elsie Inglis helped organize 13 Scottish Women's Hospitals in France, Belgium, Serbia, Greece (Macedonia), and Russia (Romania). Read more about her here on PubMed.gov

The Gutless Wonders At Amnesty International
